What is it?

Hypnotherapy is a type of complementary therapy that uses Hypnosis to help people make powerful, positive changes to their lives.

Hypnosis, or Hypnotic Trance, is an altered state of consciousness. It is a very real and natural state of being, and is something everyone experiences at various times in their day, even though they may not be aware of it.

What happens in a hypnotherapy session?

Essentially it's a conversation. The therapist isn't there to magically fix any issues you may have, but instead acts as a guide, using a variety of techniques (including insightful questions, breathwork, relaxation, visualisation, and positive suggestion) helping you uncover the answers locked away in your subconscious mind.
